The Kitchen Comes to Life!

Here are some photos to show the progression of my new favorite room coming together...I did get a tear in my eye the day they installed the countertops, I looked down and thought I was back in my beautiful Brussels kitchen (which is essentially what we tried to recreate, may look familiar to any of our Brussels visitors!)

The island is finally back where it belongs...after patiently waiting in the barn/living room!

This is what I have been waiting for...kids hanging out around the island again!  So many happy memories of after school snacks and listening to music while they tell me about their day!
