Our kitchen island (that we had made in South Africa) which fit into our Belgian kitchen through the window has finally made it out of the barn and into the house! To accomplish this, they cut a large hole in the wall and brought it in using their giant lift.
The kids were happy to have it back, as it felt like old times to sit at it and have an after school snack!
Tomorrow they will demo the kitchen, so we spent the weekend moving everything out, they guys helped us move the stove and fridge down to the basement where we have set up our temp kitchen.

However the best part was they built more of the porch and you can really now see how beautiful it will be!
They spent one day getting the posts cut, this is a shot looking down from the new upstairs rooms, those are the posts ready to go..
