People say it is a 3 ring circus but it was real here this week...there was activity on all fronts! First the kitchen foundation work continued, we were thrilled with a freezing cold Monday AM which meant the cement truck could come up the street and pour the kitchen foundation.
Here is my view early Monday walking up the street...
All week they kept doing the phases of that foundation work, they painted the sides, filled it partially, insulated it, then poured more cement on top of it all.
By Friday night, the porch deck framing was all set...
We also had an exciting day Thursday when a reporter came to interview the builder, Josh with Big Country Built and I. They are doing a feature story where they highlight local Maine small businesses. I did my interview in the barn with Kevin the Kudu looking on, so soon Kevin & I will make our TV debut! (will try to get a link to share when it is ready) Here is the news van in the mix, along with all the other vehicles out front!
They put the floor on for the new sunroom, we were so eager to use it I moved up our chairs to soak up some Saturday sun on the first day of Spring! Louna was excited to test it out with me!

We are eager to see what this week will hold, our guess is that they will go full steam on the porch and sunroom. Greg is very curious about the timeline for the sunroom & new kitchen to go up as all the new windows and doors are being stored in his garage and it is pretty tight in there at the moment!

It's looking so great! I thought for sure you were going to call someone a clown. Probably best that you didn't since this is a public blog. lol
