So they began taking out all blown in insulation in the attic. We could feel it getting colder in the house. Then yesterday they ripped off the roof...
By afternoon here is what was left of our roof! Of course it was one of the colder Maine nights in February, so our heat on the main floor was cranking all night...but it was only managing to get to 56!
Luckily we have one room in the basement that is still able to hold the heat...I write this post from that magical room!




No turning back now!
